Brian Lucid, Conference Co-chairperson

Brian Lucid is a designer, educator, and consultant whose personal and professional work spans from traditional communications in static and temporal media to computational design and physical/digital interfaces.

He is Associate Professor and Graphic Design Program coordinator at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Boston, Massachusetts. He also serves as core faculty at the Dynamic Media Institute, a graduate program focused upon design research at the intersection of technology and communication.

He holds both a B.F.A. and M.F.A. in Graphic Design from the Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, Rhode Island.

Brian sat on the steering committee for the AIGA Design Educators Community from 2005–2007 and previously served on the board of directors of the fourth largest AIGA Chapter in the United States.
