David Cundy (MFA, Yale, 1982) teaches Mass Communications at Iona College in New Rochelle, New York. A longtime practitioner an innovator in design, he has served as vice president of International Design by Electronics Association (a professional association dedicated to innovation in electronic design), as president of the Type Directors Club, on the board of the New York Chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts, and as a member of the Design Management Institute and the International Association of Business Communicators. He founded Design Trust, an integrated communications firm, in 1982, and Experegy, a strategic e-communications consultancy, in 2003. He has taught at Yale, Pratt Institute, Manhattanville College and IBM.
